Benalmadena has many things to offer.

7. Cable Car Mount Calamorro

On a clear day, the cable car ride to the top offers stunning views of the coast and mountains of Morocco. The only cable car in the Costa del Sol, this is one of the most popular things to do at Benalmadena. You can either hike in the mountains or take a mountain bike trail to the top. The Birds of Prey show is an impressive falconry demonstration. A few selfies on the mountaintop are also essential.

8. Selwo Marina: A great destination for a trip

If you have children and want to find things to do on the Costa del Sol in Benalmadena, this popular marine park should be your first choice. You’ll see sea lions, penguins and turtles. They will also enjoy the dolphin show. There are also other animals in the park, such as iguanas. monkeys, armadillos, and porcupines. Snakes, poison-dart frogs and even piranhafish are available for close encounters.

9. Enjoy a taste of the Far East

Visit the Buddhist stupa in Benalmadena. It is located on a hilltop above the city. This is the largest Buddhist stupa in Western Europe. It offers a stunning view of the coast as well as the interior. Interior exhibits and a meditation area are available.

Parque de la Paloma is a great place to go for a quiet, relaxing day in Benalmadena. The park has a lot of green space, lakes and paths. It’s the perfect place to enjoy a quiet picnic away from the crowds. The park has a children’s play area, birds and animals to observe and over 200,000 m2 of open space.
