The Costa Del Sol will see a partial eclipse of the sun on Saturday. (29th of March 2025). 10:30 am to 12:30 pm  The Moon passes between Earth and Sun, blocking out a third of Sun.  It will appear darker, but there won’t be complete darkness.  The next solar eclipse won’t happen until 12th August of next year.

What to do if you want to safely view the eclipse

Experts warn against looking directly at sunlight. Even with shades on.  You should not use binoculars, a telescope or other optical devices to observe the eclipse.  You can buy special eclipse glasses. eclipse filters You can either use the pinhole technique to project an image that will allow you see the phenomenon in safety, or you can simply look through the hole. This is an easy and safe method. A piece of paper or cardboard can be used to create a pinhole-projector.   Then pProjection the Sun’s picture onto another surface. .
