Orange weather alert is issued for Spain’s Costa del Sol ahead of SEVEN DAYS of rain - CSN News

CSN News reports that an orange weather alert has been issued for Spain’s Costa del Sol, ahead of seven days of rain.


Costa del Sol is under a FRESH Orange alert for heavy rain.

Aemet is the official weather agency of the state. The warning (pictured above), which will be in effect from midnight on Sunday until 2pm today, is issued by Aemet.

The alert includes the Costa del Sol, from Malaga to Marbella.

Aemet warns of localised flooding if rainfall reaches 80mm in 12 hours.

The forecasters have predicted that rain will continue to fall in Malaga during the next week.

Temperatures along the Costa del Sol are also expected to plummet, with temperatures not exceeding 16C next week. Highs today and next week will be 12C.

Marbella’s outlook is not dry for the next week

Yellow level alerts will also be in effect in other parts Of Andalucia on Wednesday.

There are thunderstorm warnings for the majority of provinces in Cadiz, Sevilla, Huelva and the two latter.
