The man is required to appear in court at least once every 15 days.
A private security guard at the airport of Alicante-Elche scanned suitcase contents with X-ray machines and noticed that the case could contain illegal acorn substances.
The Guardia Civil asked the owner of the suitcase to accompany them at luggage control.
The man cooperated, and the officer opened the case in his presence. Among clothes and footwear, they found vacuum-packed bags of hashish.
He was then taken into custody and hauled in front of a judge.
