Acid attack in Spain sparks fear among locals after woman is targeted while walking her dog

CSN News reports on the horror in Mijas as thugs attack a woman aged 80 and her house.


THE Guardia Civil are looking for two ‘foreign’ nationals who beat up a Mijas resident in her eighties.

Last Wednesday, March 19, men entered her rural El Hornillo property.

After grabbing the woman by the neck, one of the intruders tried to strangle her.

It has been reported that two of the suspects had previously attempted to rob this woman who lives alone.

After finding the victim covered in blood, a Mijas council worker raised the alarm a few hours later.

She confirmed that two thieves had beaten her in the early hours of the morning.

Mijas Policia Local was called, and the woman was found in pain with multiple injuries, mainly on her head.

After hearing about the attack, her son came to the house.

The ambulance was called and she was transported to the Costa del Sol Hospital.

The victim, who was in shock and injured, could not tell if anything had been stolen.
