The community of Garrucha, Spain celebrated this weekend the inauguration of a local landmark: El parque de la gamba roja.
A festive ceremony was held to open the innovative play area for children. Local authorities including representatives of Ayuntamiento Garrucha and residents as well community leaders were present.
The park was designed to meet the needs of young children, offering a stimulating, safe and creative environment that transforms play into learning. Its theme, inspired by the iconic red prawn – a symbol of the region’s heritage – is evident in the park’s creative installations. This project, which is funded primarily by municipal resources, and further enhanced by the collaboration of the community, was developed to meet a growing need for dedicated spaces that promote child development.
