This included Skina’s Marcos Granda who told the students advice he would give to ‘young Marco.’
“This is what’s most important. You must have faith in yourself, and the things you want to create,” he said.
“And do everything you do with passion.”
Both students Rodrigo Ordonez Gonzalez (left) and Ignacio Rodrigo Perez (right) are in their final year on the Escuela’s two-year culinary program.
The students also work part-time in the Japanese restaurant Nobu Marbella.

Ordonez Gonzalez wants to work in a Michelin-starred restaurant after he graduates. Rodrigo Perez is excited to explore Asia and taste his favorite cuisine at the source.
Rodrigo Perez then asked the chefs whether they should invest more time and effort in their talents or in hard work to achieve a Michelin Star.
Granda, with his seven Michelin stars, replied there must always be ‘sacrifice and passion before talent.’

David Olivas, from Back, Israel Ramos from Mantua and Mauricio Gianovanini, from Messina were the other chefs.
The event is a preview of the major fundraising gala that will take place on Sunday, April 28. DiabetesCERO (the leading foundation researching a cure to type 1 diabetes) will be hosting this year’s gala.
According to official statistics, one in 42 families in Spain is affected by this chronic illness.
