MADRID is the cultural capital of Spain, according a new report.
According to the Cultural Observatory 2024.
The annual research by cultural investment company La Fabrica reveals the hiding places of Spain’s culture-vultures.
Barcelona came in second, followed closely by Bilbao. Malaga, and Valencia.

Sevilla took the sixth spot, and rounded out the top 10 with San Sebastian. Santander, Valladolid, and Zaragoza.
In terms of regions, Madrid took the top spot, followed by Cataluña, the Basque Country and Andalucia.
Andalucia has surpassed the Valencian Community and is now ranked fourth, ahead of Galicia, Navarra, Asturias, and Navarra.
The Reina Sofia Art Museum and the San Sebastian Film Festival are the top three cultural events and institutions in Spain.

The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao and the Carmen Thyssen Museum in Madrid are both ranked fourth.
