A body found on Gualchos – Castel de Ferro Beach in the Costa Tropical of Granada Province on Tuesday 24th March was in a decomposed state.

This is the fourth body to be washed up this month following the discovery of another on 15 March and two others on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 March on the beaches of Lújar and Castell de Ferro.

The bodies believed to be those of people trying to reach Spain in a small boat that arrived at the coastal town.

The bodies were transferred to the Institute of Medical Law (IML), Granada, to be identified. Authorities are also investigating the tragedy.
