Alejandro “Chirri” died on December 23, 2018. He was the man who made Christmas magical for generations of children. Chirri wore the red suit for years, embodying Father Christmas’ spirit with warmth, joy and infectious festive cheer. The town pays tribute to its hero

Casares Town Hall pays emotional tribute to Chirri for his commitment to making Christmas a memorable experience. In a statement of gratitude, the council said:
