The Smart Living Marbella Congress will be held in 2025. This event is being organized by the Official College of Telecommunications Engineers of Andalusia, COITTA.
Scheduled for March 27 and 28 at the Adolfo Suárez Palacio de Ferias y Congresos, the event aims to reconfirm the city’s status as a benchmark for smart tourism. Councillor for Innovation Enrique Rodríguez and COITTA dean Pedro Córdoba unveiled the plan, highlighting its role in fostering a synergy between public and private sectors, tech firms, and tourism professionals.
The conference will include top experts who will discuss cutting-edge issues such as AI and 5G/6G technologies. Cybersecurity, sustainable tourism, and other topics.
The congress opens with Mayor Ángeles Muñoz’s opening address, followed by panels on smart destination solutions, local tourism innovation, and blue tourism. On day two, the focus is on AI, cybersecurity and advanced connectivity.
Marbella, which joined the Smart Tourism Destinations Network and earned a DTI seal of approval in 2022 has pioneered tech-driven travel. Córdoba detailed the free, accessible event, with registration open at smartlivingmarbella.es.
