The IV Senda Litoral Half Marathon ‘Ikos Andalusia Trophy’ will take place on Sunday, May 4 2025, bringing exciting new additions to the popular race. The event, organised by Estepona’s Town Hall and Club de Atletismo de Estepona is sponsored once again by Ikos Andalusia. This will ensure its growth as an important sporting event along the Costa del Sol.

Since its first version, the race has drawn runners from Spain and abroad, making it a must-attend. This year, the race will be live streamed to allow fans to follow in real time. The top male and female finishers of both the absolute and local categories will receive increased cash prizes.

All finishers receive a medal and runners will enjoy an upgraded race pack. The race day will conclude with a live concert and paella at the Caseta Municipal.

Its scenic and varied course, which combines urban areas with coastal terrains, is one of its highlights. The 21,1-km course begins in Cancelada before finishing at the Estepona Athletics Stadium. It passes through the Senda Litoral and the old town, as well as the fishing port and the promenade.

The course is challenging for runners because of the variety of surfaces. Shuttle service is provided to transport participants from stadium to start line.

The event is on the official calendars of the Royal Spanish Athletics Federation and the Andalusian Athletics Federation. Official judges will supervise the race timing. Local Police, Civil Protection and volunteers will assist with security measures.

Runners can register now via the Andalusian Federation website, with a special €18 fee for the first 200 sign-ups.

Senda Litoral Half Marathon grows with every edition. This race offers more than just a high-level race. It is a complete experience that includes competition, stunning scenery, and entertainment.
