A FUENGIROLA cabbie has been arrested for punching a 65 year old Irish passenger after he threw him out of the cab.
The incident occurred on Monday, 23 February.
The driver, who was 51, picked up two Irish customers, both of whom were intoxicated, according to reports.

One of the passengers started burping and the cabbie decided to pull over and evict them from his car on the Paseo Maritimo Rey de España.

The paramedics and Policia Nacional went to the scene. One of the Irish nationals had a large wound on his head as well as a bloody nase.
Due to his severe injuries, the injured man was first taken to the Las Lagunas de Mijas Health Centre.
The taxi driver was arrested by the police on an assault charge.
