Costa Del Sol Heat Warning Extended
The Yellow Weather Warning issued for Sunday has been extended into Monday (18th August). Spain’s national weather agency (AEMET) Temperatures could reach 42c at some places on the Costa Del Sol. The warning is valid between 1pm to 9pm both on Sunday and Monday.

High temperatures may pose a potential risk The pet owners of the area are being reminded that they should provide shade and water to their animals. Fires are also more likely to spread, which has been known in the past to destroy areas on the Costa Del Sol.
The emergency services are ready to respond to fires caused due the high temperatures.
