Costa del Sol captured in Fuengirola at the museum

Territory Costa del Sol is a photography exhibition that celebrates the images of the sunny coast between Nerja & Manilva.

This show will run until 28 September and offers a vibrant exploration of Costa del Sol from the lens of 50 photographers.

The exhibition contains over 400 photographs taken in the span of two years. From sunlit beaches, to hidden corners, and places viewers wouldn’t have normally imagined, the collection is a comprehensive picture of the landscape on the south coast. Eduardo D’Acosta curated the project, which was further developed on International Photography Day, 2024 when ColectivoImagen photographed families leaving the beach. These portraits now form the highlight of an exhibition titled Territorio del Sol Familias.

The exhibition, organized by ColectivoImagen, in collaboration with Fuengirola Council and the City Museum of Fuengirola and the Andalusian Photography Federation, invites visitors into the beauty and humanity of Costa del Sol. This unique celebration of community and place is on display until late September.

The museum is open from Monday to Friday, 5pm to 9pm. Saturdays and sundays it’s open 10am to 2pm. The museum is in Calle María Josefa Larrucea, 3, Fuengirola.
