Costa Cowboys return the craziness of Kukko

The legendary Costa Cowboys make a return at Kukko this Friday, March 21. They will fill up the Finnish venue of Fuengirola.

One of the most loved and biggest (not only in popularity but in sheer size) bands on the Costa del Sol, the Costa Cowboys would attract busloads of fans, for example at the Mai Tai Disco in Cártama, which packed out the 300 max venue and went on until the early hours. Founded by Varis’ Jukka and somewhat based on the Leningrad Cowboys, Finland’s biggest musical export, at one point they had just about every Finnish musician on the coast as a member of the band. It has been reported that they often had as many as a dozen musicians performing on stage simultaneously, not necessarily the same ones.

The craziness will return on Friday, March 21. We don’t know how many or which players it will include, but we do know that at least four people are involved. Kukko is sure to be packed.

Reservations can be made at kukko.events@gmail.com for €10. If you hold them until 8pm the band will appear on stage. Kukko is located on Avenida de Los Boliches 4 in Fuengirola.
