Continental Lovers, bringing their Punk/Glam sounds to Estepona for their album promotion tour, dropped by Louie Louie Friday night.
Continental Lovers confirmed that they will be touring Spain during the month of Februrary. Continental Lovers, a quartet from Nottingham in the UK, are indebted and influenced by Glam Rock bands like The New York Dolls. Punk Rock is also a big influence as are the excesses in 1980s Power Pop.
Joe Maddox started his new personal project, a band led by Joe Maddox. Joe Maddox was previously known for The Breakdowns or The DeRellas. Several singles, an EP, and some demos somewhere down the road, and they are ready to go with their first album ‘Real Vision’. Continental Lovers will bring their extravagant Rock’n’Roll show to the Casta del Sol this Friday, 6th February.
Ticket prices start at €16.50 from woutick.org and the band are on stage at 10pm, although invariably at Louie Louie, that can mean at any time after 10pm. Louie Louie can be found on Av. Luis Braille in Estepona, near the harbor.
