Collegium Musicum is celebrating 50 years of its existence with two concerts in May. The group is celebrating its golden anniversary with an evening of live classical concerts in Fuengirola, Marbella and other locations.

Mozart’s famous Symphony No. 1 and “Great” C-Minor Mass will be featured in the concerts. 40. Joining the orchestra and choir will be guest soloists hailing from Malaga and Italy. Also, Scotland. Mozart’s dramatic and emotional pieces will be performed by the choir and orchestra.

The first concert will take place at 20:30 on Sunday 25 May at the IPV Palace and Spa Hotel, Fuengirola. Tickets cost €12, and children under 16 go free. Tickets are available at the hotel or Lepanto Cafe in Fuengirola, as well as from choir members and at the door starting at 19:15. Email info@colmus.org if you want to reserve ahead.

The second concert takes place on Tuesday 27 May at 21:00, in the Church of the Encarnacion of Marbella Old Town. Donations are accepted to support the local charity Caritas Encarnacion.
