Cirque du Soleil to return to Malaga with KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities

Cirque du Soleil continues its global cultural revolution by enchanting audiences with its acrobatics.

In summer 2026, Malaga welcomes KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities, a highly acclaimed show that invites audiences to escape reality and dive into a magical world where curiosity reigns supreme.

KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities transports spectators to a steampunk-inspired universe, set in an alternate past where a scientist unlocks a hidden realm of wonders. The production combines poetry, humour and acrobatics to create a mesmerising show. It transforms perspectives by making the invisible visible. The show, which features 50 artists, begins in a laboratory, where whimsical characters are bringing the scientist’s inventions to life. It celebrates the limitless power of imagination.

Cirque du Soleil KURIOS, well traveled and well loved

KURIOS, which premiered in Montreal in 2014. has delighted over 6,000,000 people in 40 cities around the world with over 3,000 performances. Malaga will be hosting the show for the first time, joining its Spanish tour that includes Gijón, Sevilla (starting January 17, 2026), Bilbao (starting April 8, 2026), and Alicante (starting July 16, 2026). KURIOS will be one of Malaga’s biggest social events of 2026, at the Recinto Ferrial Cortijo De Torres. The presence of the show is expected to attract thousands from Spain and beyond, boosting local businesses from dining to hospitality.

Malaga crazy for Cirque du Soleil

Malaga audiences have always loved Cirque du Soleil shows. Alfonso, who appeared in the Cirque du Soleil show in 2019 said, “The Malaga audience was incredible – all the participants agreed. Clarifying this is because videos usually lower the crowd noise. But they gave it all to us.

KURIOS – Cabinet of Curiosities will run at the Recinto Ferial Cortijo de Torres in Malaga starting June 4, 2026. Tickets are now available and will be sold out. Tickets are available at all the usual outlets. Ticket prices run from €49 to €273.
