ChefsForChildren confirmed the details of its eighth version, starting with an official introduction on Wednesday 21st January at 7.30pm. The event will be held at Vocento’s headquarters in Madrid, at Calle de Josefa Valcárcel, 40 bis, and marks the formal launch of a project that continues to unite leading chefs and children around a shared social purpose.
Gastronomy and Solidarity united
This edition strengthens a connection between gastronomy & solidarity by collaborating with FEDER – the Spanish Federation of Rare Diseases. FEDER is a not-for-profit organisation that represents more than 400 associations across the country. The federation’s main focus is to improve the quality of life for those affected by rare diseases, and their families. It does this by promoting inclusion and research and by providing access to resources and treatments. The federation plays an important role in raising awareness of these conditions, and giving them visibility.
Fostering healthy habits
ChefsForChildren is a project that puts children at the heart of all its activities. The project’s goal is to promote healthy eating habits and support children who need additional assistance. In workshops that are both practical and engaging for young people, renowned chefs from Spain prepare simple recipes with them. These sessions combine learning with fun, and use food to foster connections and education.
The main event
The main ChefsForChildren event will be held on 20 April 2026 at Anantara Villa Padierna Palace Benahavís Marbella Resort. This gathering will bring some of the most respected chefs in the country together for a gastronomic discussion. The program will end with a charity dinner featuring a special menu designed for the occasion. Proceeds from the event will be used to support the social goals of the project.
