On Saturday, February 22, Las Lagunas de Mijas will host an exhibition of classic motorbikes and cars.
Organisers invite owners of classic cars to Mijas where they can show off their machines and enter prize draws.
It’s free to enter for those on foot and €10 for those who bring their classic motor. The grand meet registration fee includes free entry, paella and a beverage.
Six categories will be awarded: oldest car (i.e. Japanese or American), oldest motorcycle (i.e. Japanese), oldest driver (i.e. American), youngest driver for a classic vehicle and vehicle with the most miles traveled.The competition will award six categories: the oldest car, the oldest motorcycle, the youngest driver of a classic vehicle, the vehicle that has come from the furthest (i.e. Japanese or American), and the club with the largest number of members.
Rock Revival will perform live, and Aida Garner will sing. There will also be raffles for everyone to participate in. The vehicles will also tour Las Lagunas, with a giant paella and tortilla stands. There will also be hot dogs, raffles, a bar, and a lot of other special prizes. All proceeds raised will go to AECC.
