Carlos Alcaraz of Spain has qualified for his second consecutive French Open final on Sunday following a walkover victory over Italian Lorenzo Musetti at the Paris Open on Friday.
Musetti retired after a thigh strain late in the third game. He also called it quits when he suffered a service break in the early part of the fourth.
Alcaraz (22), was comfortably leading 4-6 7-6 6-1 2-0 before the players prematurely shook their hands.

The Murcian champion, who will be looking to win her 25th Grand Slam, will either face the world number one Jannik Djokovic or the 38-year-old Novak Djokovic.
The match will start at 7 pm.
Alcaraz told reporters after the match: “It was never fair.” I want to win, but not this way.
“Lorenzo’s a great player.” He had an amazing clay season. He is one of only a few players to have reached the semi-finals. “I wish him a speedy recovery and all the best.”
The first two sets were very tough. I had chances to beat his serve during the match but I couldn’t do it.”
He was playing excellent tennis. There was relief when I won the second game. In the third set, I knew what I had to do in the beginning – pushing him to the limit and trying to be aggressive.”
“I could have played great tennis if I had been calmer, and I would have seen this clearly.”
Alcaraz, speaking of Djokovic and Sinner’s matchup, said: “This is one the best matches that we have in Tennis right now.”
It is going to make for a fantastic tennis match. I’m watching it and enjoying it. I’m taking tactics from this match.”
They’re going play some great tennis.
