Canary Islands horror: remains of a dismembered Colombian found on the beach

A BAR owner was arrested on suspicions of murder following the discovery of a woman’s dismembered corpse on a popular tourist spot in Gran Canaria.

Police say that the Colombian victim, age 41, was stabbed repeatedly in the neck, before the killer attempted to dismember her body.

After a failed attempt to dispose of her body in another location, the body was found by a passing passer-by on the popular San Andres Beach.

The woman texted her friend to tell them she was going out to a party. It was the only time they heard anything about her.

Armed police sealed the bar in which the owner of that bar was arrested with police tape.

He is scheduled to appear in court within the next few days after a police search of his house.
