A 20-year-old man has died after being found with a fatal stab wound to the chest at the entrance of his family home in the quiet residential area of Sa Coma, in Sant Llorenç.
His brother found the young victim in a critical condition, Tuesday morning at their house on Teixos de Sa Coma Street.
Emergency services were called to the scene. They attempted to revive the victim, but his death was confirmed at the scene.

Sources from the police confirmed that a vital organ had been pierced, causing rapid blood loss.


The Guardia Civil is conducting a thorough investigation into the possible murder.
The body was found with a suspected weapon near it. A knife has been sent to forensics for analysis.
An autopsy will be performed on Tuesday, at the Institute of Legal Medicine of Palma. This will determine the exact cause of the death and if there were any other injuries.
Both the Guardia Civil and Policia Local cordoned a large portion of the road to preserve and collect forensics evidence and the crime scene.

The normally quiet neighbourhood was swept by officers as they searched for clues and spoke to potential witnesses.
Police have not yet made any arrests and have not ruled anything out, including that the attacker could have known the victim.
Local residents have expressed shock over the incident, describing the area as ‘tranquil’ and ‘family-friendly’.
