British tourist robbed of €40k Rolex watch in Mallorca street as young daughter screams in horror

A BRITISH visitor had his Rolex Watch yanked off his wrist as he walked down a Mallorca Street with his wife, and daughter.

The violent robbery took place on Friday night at 11pm, in Port d’Andratx.

The 44-year old Brit had just been to a restaurant with family.

The men, all of whom had their faces covered, went straight to the Briton who tried to resist.

Within seconds his watch worth €40,000 was removed as his daughter screamed.

After hearing the commotion in the hotel, staff and guests rushed to leave. However, the thieves returned with their loot into their car and drove away at high speeds.

Andratx Policia Locale y Guardia Civiles interrogated several witnesses for details on the robbers.

To determine if there are any security cameras in the Port d’Andratx, the footage is being reviewed.

Sources involved in the investigation have told Ultima Hora It is almost certain that the criminals identified the British tourists as possible targets hours before.
