A BRITISH fugitive who had skipped his sentencing was arrested in a Benidorm Hotel. The fugitive had been convicted of sexual assaults on two occasions and he did not attend the hearing.
On November 12, UK authorities issued an international arrest warrant against the 44-year old man.
His first attack was in London in the year 2020, and his second one came not long after.

The man left the UK after being released from jail before his sentencing.
Police Nacional saw the Brit acting suspiciously and attempting to flee after he was spotted at his hotel.
He was stopped by officers who asked him to produce any identification documents.
They accompanied him into his hotel room in order to obtain his passport.
The international arrest warrant was flagged by the police in their database and the man was arrested.
He was sentenced to ten years in prison in his absence for the two assaults.
The Briton was handed over to Madrid’s National Court to be processed for extradition.
