A BRITISH tourist has issued a warning after being slapped with a €30,000 medical bill after falling ill in Spain.
ITV News reported the woman, from Staffordshire suffered a seizure while on holiday in Mallorca, leading to an €34,000 medical bill.
Elle Dennis, who fell ill last year on the island and was placed in an induced coma by a Palma Hospital, had to stay for a long time.

She has been refused payment by her insurers because she failed declare her menopause medications, even though they were unrelated to her illness.
Dennis, who had only been taking the hormone replacement therapy for a few short weeks, forgot to declare this when she renewed her insurance.
She was diagnosed with a Grade 3 brain tumour after undergoing tests.
I feel angry, depressed, and worried. I don’t even know how I am going to pay for the bills,” she told ITV News.
I actually asked this question [if it was connected to HRT] “They said that it had nothing to do at all with it.”
Neal, her husband, said: “The doctors told me not to worry, because I will be covered by my insurance. There’s no chance that you won’t be covered.”
