A BRITISH expat living in Palma, Spain was arrested after a violent attack that injured the victim’s eyes.
Last Tuesday (30 September), the Policia Nacional arrested the suspect for serious injury.
The arrested Brit was described as a ‘young man’ and was not known to the victim, who reprimanded him and his friends for throwing bottles at passing vehicles.

The victim continues to recover, but has limited vision. This could be permanent.
After the assault on August 10, police took weeks to identify the British man and detain him.
The victim, who was leaving his workplace, shouted a group to stop throwing bottles at moving cars.
The complainant was then punched in the face by a British man of an undisclosed ages.
The blow resulted in a fractured eye socket, cataract trauma and a tear and detachment of the retina.
A retinal injury requiring an urgent operation and several stitches in the eye.
The victim was found lying in a dazed condition on the ground by the Policia Nacional when they arrived.
The officers meticulously investigated, including poring over CCTV footage in order to identify the British suspect.
Further arrests are not ruled out as the investigation continues.
