Brian Piccolo & Friends singing for Alzheimer’s, a star-studded spectacular

Brian Piccolo will be hosting a spectacular evening at the Salón Varietés on Saturday, May 31, fundraising for the wonderful cause of ADSG Dementia Support.

Stars of the Costa del Sol will dedicate their time free and come together for an evening of song and joy at the legendary Salón Varietés, with all proceeds going directly to ADSG. Ricky Lavazza will be joined by Emma Luisa Ron Howells Mario Ross and the Diva Fever with Toni-Leigha & Melissa Carver. Brian Piccolo is the host of the evening. The top prize is a custom-made couture garment by Brian Piccolo.

ADSG, based in Mijas Costa provides support for carers of people with dementia and Alzheimer’s. They run a support group for carers, which allows them to relieve themselves of their burdens by talking with people who know what it’s like. They also organise activities for those suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s. Maggie Bobowizc & David Donaldson founded the charity in 2019. Maggie Bobowizc was diagnosed with dementia after her husband Stan, who had been married for more than 50 years, was diagnosed. She became Stan’s sole caregiver. Maggie sought out David and his team for support, and after Stan’s death, Maggie shared her wisdom and experience with other caregivers of loved ones affected by this cruel illness.
