BREAKING: Travel Warning as UK air traffic controller failure leads to major delays

Authorities have issued a travel warning after the air traffic control system in the UK was unable to function properly, causing planes to be grounded and significant delays.

Reports indicate that a problem with the flight radar system in the London region has affected flights all over the country.

Nats, UK’s air-traffic controller, issued a statement saying: “Our engineers restored the affected system this afternoon.”

We are currently resuming our normal operations within the London region.

We continue to work closely together with airlines and airports to minimize disruption.

“We apologize for the inconvenience.”

Holidaymakers planning to fly to Spain will be affected by this issue.

Eurocontrol has sent an alert out to all airlines.
