The dog was found alive but had run off on Wednesday. It was finally rescued near the site of accident.
The dog, which was discovered by Infoca forest firefighters on Thursday, can now be returned to his family. A nature protection officer (Seprona), who had seen the dog on Wednesday at the site of accident, tried to catch it but the dog ran off. It is still unknown where he is.
The Guardia Civil informed Boro’s owners of the incident and, after finding him last Thursday, they are now able to hug him once again.
