The Andalucian house renovated by Alan Carr and Amanda Holden in BBC One’s Amanda & Alan’s Spanish Job The hotel is now open to paying customers this week.
Casa Alamanda Moclín in Granada province began taking bookings on Wednesday, charging from €195 per night for up to six guests.
The property, which includes the Moroccan bedroom that was a major part of the series, has remained unchanged since the filming.
The house was bought by Nicola Walters, a Welsh couple, after the show ended. The same estate agent who sold the house to the BBC has been appointed as the rental manager.

Moclin is now a thriving village, thanks to the attention that the TV series has brought.
Local businesses in Moclín report increased visitor numbers since the programme aired in January 2025. Bar owner Mario Costela Martin reported that UK tourists had ‘skyrocketed’ after the show broadcast, with many seeking out the renovated house.
“Sightseers were visiting the village daily to take photographs outside the property,” said Ian Rutter from Granada Village & Country, the estate agency handling the rental.
He also managed the sale of the BBC Production Company.

Before its TV makeover, the property was vacant for 35 years. It had fallen into disrepair from being both a village shop and a family house.
Its abandonment is a sign of the rural Andalucian villages being depopulated as young people are forced to move away in search for employment in cities with more population.

This phenomenon has led to a surplus of homes abandoned in rural Spain while major cities are suffering from an oversupply.
Moclín, with 3,500 residents, sits in the northwest hills of Granada province beneath a 13th-century Moorish castle.

The village hosts numerous festivals throughout the year, including October’s Cristo del Paño celebration which draws 15,000 visitors annually.
The new owners will donate 15% of the rental income from the property to the local women’s association. This is the group that Amanda Holden worked with in the TV series to learn how to make traditional pastry.

Esperanza 9, another property featured on the show, has been reported to be fully booked since it aired.
Weekly rates for Casa Alamanda range from €1,365 to €1,575 depending on season.
