The history and literature lovers are in for an amazing treat. The Last MoriscoThe launch of, a captivating historical novel by Diego Ramos is scheduled for Sunny with a Chance of Books in Mojácar Pueblo.
The launch will take place in English.
The story is set in 16th century Spain. The Last Morisco The Moriscos are Spanish Muslims who were forced to convert to Christianity, and then persecuted by King Philip II. The novel follows two young rebels, Khalíl and Didac, as they navigate a world of war, love, and betrayal amid the Ottoman threat and brutal repression. The story takes place in Almería, specifically in the Levante/Filabres region.

The monthly book club has been rescheduled due to the weather. The meeting will take place now on Saturday, 8.The th March.
This month’s book will be available on the 1st of every month. Butter Asako Yuzuki has written a novel that is part true crime, part culinary obsession and completely addictive.
