Mijas Pueblo will come alive with the ‘Noche de Blues’ concert on Saturday, July 12, at 10pm in the Miguel González Berral Municipal Auditorium.
C.T. will be performing at the event which kicks off the summer outdoor music season in 2025. The Granada Blues Band will also be celebrating 40 years as a band. Powell & Bluedays and Mama Paula Blues Band.
The concert is free, but attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable foods to the local food bank. Francisco Jerez is the Tourism Councillor of Mijas. He said, “We will keep entry free and ask that everyone bring as much food as they can in order to help those who are in need.”
The concert is aimed at attracting both locals as well as tourists, and encourages them to spend more time in Mijas Pueblo after the event to take advantage of its restaurants and charm. Jerez said that a free concert at a unique venue such as our auditorium encourages people to stay, eat, and explore.
‘Blues Night’ is the first of several summer concerts designed to create memorable evenings for everyone, combining live music with a spirit of community and generosity.
