Two fugitives who were on the run from French Justice have been arrested in Benidorm by the Policia Nacional.
The men had been wanted since 2024 for a number of crimes including murder, money-laundering, drug trafficking and arm dealing.
In their name, four European arrest warrants have been issued.

If convicted, one of the men could face up to 30 years behind bars while his partner could spend 10 years behind bars.
The couple rented a villa with a high security level.
It was located on a high plateau and had a single entry and exit. There were also high fences and many windows that could be used to watch for approaching cars and police.
One of the fugitives, after a period under surveillance, was arrested at the dawn of Thursday last week during a night in Benidorm.
He carried several SIM cards to prevent authorities from tracking his location.
The Policia Nacional then attacked the villa in order to capture the second fugitive.
The National Court has been notified of the extradition.
