In the tourist district of the city, a BENIDORM bar and coffee shop were raided. Both are suspected to be selling drugs.
Two separate police operations have resulted in the arrest of six people.

To get narcotics, customers had to call or text the store in advance.
The location had multiple entrances and outgoings, a metal grille for security, a strong smell like marijuana, and cameras.
The owner, a 30-year-old man, used social media to promote products. His catalogue included 30 different varieties of marijuana.
Free home delivery was offered for orders over €50.
All the drugs seized by the police in Villajoyosa were kept at his home.
As well as 6.5 kilos of marijuana and a kilo of hashish, officers removed €62,000 in cash, plus over £900 sterling and other currencies, as well as high-end mobile phones.
The second bust was at a bar on a narrow, busy pedestrianised street.
The premises and several homes acted as ‘stash houses’.
Three men and two woman were arrested, but the nationalities of these five people have not yet been disclosed.
Police seized over €40,000 in cash as well as £10,000 in sterling and over 5,000 Scottish pounds.
Three vehicles and marijuana, cocaine, MDMA, were seized.
