Benalmadena’s local and ethical fashion brands

Benalmadena, the town that hosts a new edition to the Benalmadena Festival, will be awash in colour and style this week. Benalmadena de Moda. The two day fashion event will be held on 6 and 7 June in two central locations: the Casa de la Cultura, in Arroyo de la Miel and Plaza de Andalucia at Benalmadena Pueblo.

The event is a celebration of local talent, emerging fashion designers, and ethical fashion. The programme, which is supported by the Benalmadena Town Hall, FEDECON and local designers and shops, includes catwalks, fashion awards, and creative collections.

In the Plaza de Andalucia, the “Young Designer Award”, the main catwalk as well the third edition will take place on Friday June 6. The Casa de la Cultura, on the following day, will showcase urban and contemporary collection from local brands such as IMALU Lima Limon The Times Shop Tribeka, and more.

Maria Lafuente will be the guest of honor at this event. She is a pioneering fashion designer who has a passion for sustainable fashion. Her designs have appeared on international platforms, such as at the UN. Venus, a brand that is known for inclusivity in size, and K-KOU Madrid are two other participating brands.

Benalmadena de Moda does not only focus on fashion. This event is an opportunity to promote local businesses, showcase creative talent and encourage conscious consumption. This event is open to all who want to enjoy Costa del Sol style with a purpose.
