Benalmadena is celebrating another year of ‘Cultura en la calle’ (Culture in the street) until August 8, which will be structured around four main themes from Tuesday to Friday and feature 12 diverse and entertaining activities.
On Tuesdays, open-air screenings of family-friendly films will be held at Malapesquera Beach and Los Nadales. Wednesdays feature a mix between jazz and Cuban rhythms in venues such as Parque de la Paloma, Castillo El Bil Bil. On Thursdays, there will be magic and circus shows for the whole family at places like Pueblosol. Fridays will conclude each week with flamenco performances by artists including Rafael Vílchez, Isabel Guerrero, and Andrés Cansino at plazas like Andalucía, Tribuna, and Castillo El Bil Bil.
The program of events began on Tuesday, 22 July at 10pm at Los Nadales with a screening Ghostbusters Frozen Empire. The next day, Yailo Beltrán y los Fuera de Serie will perform at Parque de la Paloma at the same time. The first week continues with the Stars Circus Gala on July 24 at 9pm at Adolfo Suárez Square and a flamenco performance by Rafael Vílchez’s company on July 25 at 10pm at Andalucía Square.
In 2016, the program was launched. It has since become a cultural trademark for the Costa del Sol, and the province of Malaga.
