Benalmadena, in Arroyo de la Miel will be hosting the Sabor a Malaga festival this weekend. The fair will run from Friday, April 25, to Sunday, April 27, at Plaza Adolfo Suarez. This event will be held daily between 11am and 9pm. The popular food and beverage market is returning to the town for the second year in a row.
The fair will feature 36 local producers, who will offer a variety of products including olive oil extra-virgin, goat cheese, cow cheese, cured meats and honey, tropical fruit, artisanal pastries and breads, wine and craft beer.
Participants can take part in a wide range of activities including cooking demonstrations and tastings as well as workshops conducted by local chefs. The concert will also feature live music, including performances by the Municipal Music School’s Guitar and Piano Concert, the group Ochenta2, as well as singer Gines González.
This year’s event will feature a children’s corner and a dessert and sweets speciality.
This fair, organized by the Benalmadena Town Hall and the Diputacion de Malaga Sabor a Malaga label, aims to promote regional agrifood producers and help them grow. Last year’s edition had an economic impact exceeding €220,000, highlighting the event’s significance for the local economy.
