Benalmadena residents should be aware. The supply will be cut on Tuesday, 7th July as essential work has been delayed until the most busy and hot time of the year.
As council contractors plug the holes that have been found in the pipes of these areas, you can expect to see the water taps dry up between the hours of 8am-3pm.

Around 80 metres of pipework have more holes than teabags and are in need of repair. You should get as much water as you can while you can, and keep some for later. There may still be sediment left in your pipes after the afternoon.
What is the troublesome area? Remember the huge pipe that burst right next to the Los Patos resort and pumped a geyser full of drinking water up into the air after it? It’s in that area.
The council apologizes to the residents of Benalmadena and the hotels in the area for any inconvenience caused by this measure. It also thanks them for their understanding during the construction of the improvements that will improve the water quality.
