Benahavís is putting the final touches on what promises to be a spectacular start to the 2025 TrialGP World Championship. This Malaga town, which is a picturesque place to begin with, will become the epicenter for trial motorcycling between April 4 and 6. It will welcome top riders as well as fans of this sport.

The 9.5 kilometer course has been approved and is now being prepared. Organised by Club Deportivo Motorista Benahavís, the event will feature twelve competitive zones weaving through both natural landscapes and urban stretches of the town. The action will start at El Esparragal, and extend through the picturesque Montemayor Castle region. Just the views of the western Costa del Sol alone are worth a visit.

TrialGP PowerSection and top-level spectator zones will thrill TrialGP Fans

Six of the 12 zones are located near the sports centre in the town, providing easy access to spectators. These include both natural and artificial challenges, with zone 12 hosting the high-stakes PowerSection—a bonus-point finale that could prove decisive in the championship standings.

The remaining zones will take riders out into nature to test their skills. Zones 6 & 7 are just 600m from the town center, while zones 8 – 11 are situated near the historic Castillo de Montemayor.

Fans-focused Fridays and practical access solutions

Organisers are laying out the red carpet, particularly on Friday, 4 April. The event will include a walk through the paddock where attendees can take selfies with top riders and a biketrial at 5:15 pm. The official presentation of the championship will follow shortly after on Avenida de Andalucía, with autograph sessions from top competitors.

There will be a parking lot at Ermita Virgen del Rosario for those who arrive by car. Shuttle buses will run to the main competition hub. Campers can also stay at the Club Deportivo, making it even easier for fans to enjoy the weekend.

Motorbike fans invited to TrialGP Benahavís with strict rules in place

Fans who wish to follow the race by motorbike will be allowed to, if they meet certain conditions. All motorcycles are required to have a valid insurance policy and original number plates. The Guardia Civil and Local Police are on hand to enforce compliance and protect the environment.

On Saturday and on Sunday, the main competition will take place. There are nearly 100 riders competing. Both days engines will be roaring to life by 9 a.m., with the final podium event expected at 4:45 on Sunday. Whether you’re a die-hard motorsport enthusiast or just curious for a day out, Benahavís is the place to be this April.
