Benahavis brings Beatlemania on the Costa del Sol

Benahavis brings a wave Beatlemania this June to the Costa del Sol with a free culture programme that celebrates the legendary British band. This event is organized by Benahavis Culture Department and open to everyone. It was designed with expats in mind..

The celebrations begin at 7pm on Tuesday 4th of June with the screening Get Back, an award-winning Beatles document. The film will be screened in its original version, with Spanish subs. at the town’s cultural center. The opening of an exhibition with a Beatles theme will take place after the film. It will last until 30 June. This display features rare photos, records and posters that celebrate the history and music of the Fab Four. The display will be open from Monday to Friday, 4pm to 8pm.

On Thursday, 6th June, the party will move to the streets. Vintage Experience will perform their Sing and Swing Show at 7pm in the centre of town on Avenida de Andalucia. The trio brings live music and feel-good energy to the city. Spanish tribute group Los Escarabajos performs some of the Beatles’ greatest songs at 10pm.
