Belgian festival La Duquesa, Manilva


The Belgian Weekend Festival will return to Castillo de la Duquesa Manilva to celebrate Belgium’s National festival with three nights of music and food.

Free entry to the event is available on July 18, 19, and 20. Live music, DJ sets and delicious cuisine will be featured, along with refreshing drinks and refreshments.

The festival, which is organized by the Foreign Residents Department, in collaboration with QG Belgian Beers and Roy22, Coca-Cola and Rives, is always an exciting celebration of Belgian Culture. This summer’s lively event is held in the historical Castillo de la Duquesa. It attracts people from Manilva as well as those from farther afield.

The festival begins on Friday 18th of July from 8pm-3am with DJ Loco spinning electro dance. The Major Scales will follow, also from Belgium. They’ll be playing Afro-tribal and melodic house. Stephane C from France will close the evening with a fusion between Latin and Tech House beats.

Ana Guerrero’s mesmerising Flamenco performance will kick off the eclectic line-up on Saturday 19th July from 8pm-3am. Gipsy King Tribute, recreating iconic sounds from the legendary band. DJ Loco brings back a nostalgic mix 80s, 90s, pop, rock and funk-dance. Stephane C will keep the energy up with his funky, Latin and house. The Major Scales close the night out with Nu Disco, Funky House and a mix of 80s and 90s pop, rock, and funk-dance.

The festival concludes on Sunday, 20 July, from 8pm to 1am, with a soulful live music performance by Kathy & Eddy. DJ Loco and The Major Scales will close the festival with a set that mixes disco from the 80s/90s with EDM.

The welcome free event invites all to experience the best in Belgian and local cultures, from savoury foods to refreshing drinks, but most importantly Belgian beer. Castillo de la Duquesa is at Carretera el Castillo, Castillo de la Duquesa, Manilva.
