URB. LA HERRADA RAID, LOS MONTESINOS

The gang is accused of committing 13 bank robberies across Spain- four in the Valencia region- since November 2024 starting with two Navarra heists which netted them €124,000 alone.

They used getaway drivers and professional safe-busters to target banks in small towns where there were quick escape routes.

Small surveillance cameras were placed outside banks and sent live images using 4G technology, allowing police officers to be monitored.

The trick was to break down the front door of the bank, which would trigger an alarm. However, they would then change the main lock.

They then went into hiding and watched the security personnel appear to conduct a quick check. After that, they entered again.

They would then use a key that was newly made to unlock the new lock. They would also disable the alarm, and delete any CCTV recordings from their initial intrusion.

Experts broke into safes with specialist tools, and then left the bank and closed the door.

SAFE BREAKING GEARS

The bank was also sprayed with cleaning products, or even extinguishers, to remove any evidence that could be linked to anyone.

The stolen cars had fake number plates and were luxury models.

These were often hidden in isolated farms, barns, or garages.

The crew would disassemble the vehicle if they thought it had been identified by the police. They then sold the parts on the black market.

The gang would move to a rural property to store the vehicles before each robbery.

After each crime they returned to that address to divide the spoils, before returning to local areas.
