Lady Lazarus from Sydney will be causing a stir in Estepona’s Louie Louie at 10pm on Saturday, 27th March 2025 as part their Euro Trash Tour.
Berlin-based Caroline Parks (vocals), Eva Lozanovska, Isabel Rak and Julia Nienhaus combine ferocious political wit with ferocious energy. Critics celebrate them as ‘a reawakening of our punk ancestors’ (Happy Mag, 2024), and their DIY garage ethos that sets them apart.
Lady Lazarus, who first appeared on the scene 2023, has been a voice of the angry youth. She champions rock’n’roll feminism by promoting the talent of non-male punk rockers through events such as Loud Women Australia. Their music isn’t just noise – it’s a movement, described as ‘never less than ferocious’ and ‘right up in your damn face’ (The Underground Stage, 2024).
Now they are taking that raw, unadulterated energy to Europe. At music venues, political events, and curated gigs, in the UK and other European countries, including Spain, Croatia and Hungary, Austria and Germany, Holland and Belgium.
The Estepona tour stop at Avenida Luis Braille promises a night of unapologetic rock rebellion. Lady Lazarus wants to keep punk as a means of resistance and shake up the establishment with their move to Berlin.
Lady Lazarus will perform Louie Louie at 10pm on Thursday, 27 March. Tickets are €10 on the door or €11 via Woutick online.
