At last! Spring arrives early in Costa Blanca and Andalucia with highs of 28C – this is where you can hit the beach this weekend

Residents in Costa Blanca and Andalucia should dust off the sunbeds this spring as a warm weather front will arrive soon to wash away the long, wet winter.

This weekend, the unseasonable heatwave is making several coastal hotspots perfect for the beach. Temperatures will peak at 27C on Monday.

Meteored meteorologists say that a powerful subtropical front is on its way to replace recent storms in the south and east coasts with blue skies.

Meteored reports a high of 28C for Murcia on Sunday.

Alicante, Almeria, and Murcia are all great places to go to the beach on Saturday and Sunday.

The weekend will bring daytime temperatures that easily exceed 20C in these regions, making it the perfect time to enjoy a stroll on the beach or a drink at a sunny terrace.

Warmth will continue to increase as the weekend goes on. Highs of up to 24C are expected in Murcia, and 23C is forecast for Andalucia’s interior, which includes Sevilla, Cordoba, and Jaen.

The mercury is expected to reach 25C by Monday in Alicante, Almeria and the rest of the region.

Murcia, the city in Spain that will experience the highest temperatures of the year with a high of 27C.

The weather experts, however, have issued a mild caution to those eager to strip off to t-shirts.

The nights in February are very long, and the radiational cooling phenomenon will bring temperatures down as soon the sun sets.

The days are perfect for beach-going, but the temperatures at night will still be below 5C. A thick coat will therefore remain essential in the evenings.
