Cabañarte (Art Cabin) is a creative centre founded by Miguel Angel Vecchione and his wife Estela Daniela Nava.
Huercal-Overa was originally conceived as a School-Workshop for Painting and Creativity in 2020. It opened its doors to the public in Huercal-Overa in 2022. The warm, inviting environment allows people of all ages to explore their artistic talent in a relaxed atmosphere.
The philosophy at Cabañarte is to harness the transformative power of art for emotional well-being and personal growth. The founders of Cabanarte believe that creativity can be accessed by anyone, regardless previous experience. They offer courses on drawing, acrylic painting and other artistic techniques. The classes are divided into separate ones for adults and children to ensure that the learning is tailored.

In addition to regular courses, Cabañarte organises special events, such as multi-sensorial neon painting workshops, art therapy sessions and team-building activities. The centre is proud to offer bilingual classes, both in Spanish and English. This attracts locals and international participants.
Looking ahead, Cabañarte is expanding its creative offerings. Cabanarte has planned a series of innovative events for March. In addition, a new partnership with Sentieri Popolari – an Italian company – promises to offer exciting new opportunities to its community.
