A large police operation was launched last week in Estepona after a forced admission of a mentally aggressive patient.
Officers were requested by the health personnel because the patient was barricaded in a house that had guns inside.
Last Friday, doctors visited the patient’s home and realized they needed help from a Special Security Operations Group of the Policia Nacional.

The officers were able to hold the patient inside so that he could be treated by the health services and transported to a psychiatric hospital in the region.

The guns in the house belonged to the relative of the suspect.
