Refreshed, more exciting Aqualand

Aqualand is back and better than ever.

Aqualand Torremolinos opened in 1985 and has since become the mainstay for tourism in the Malaga Province. The water-based activities are renowned for their excitement, but it is also known as the perfect place to cool off during the hot summer months.

The park, which covers an area of over 70,000 square meters, has undergone a recent radical transformation. It now features new attractions, themed zones, inspired by Mayan cultures, pirates and a stunning volcano centerpiece.

Two new rides Huari and Namaka replace the old Kamikaze & Twister rides. These join last season’s addition, Hurakán. Huari is named after an Aztec god of fire and the underworld. It has a 76 metre slide and a 13 metre drop. Namaka was inspired by a Hawaiian sea goddess and features a 22 metre height with an 86 metre course. Hurakán offers five distinct slides, including the best, the Super Bowl, a thrilling 110-metre boomerang slide 11 metres high with a breathtaking 53 per cent slope, and a 125-metre slide with a 15-metre width. Speed Racer, a 200-metre multi-lane attraction, is another adrenaline-pumping addition.

Due to high demand, the park has improved all its theme areas including Pirate Bay and La Mina. It also features a new wave pool with waterjets and new Balinese-style beds that can be reserved online. The park has also added some lush landscaping with vegetation to provide shade from the scorching sun.

Aqualand Torremolinos is a place that has a lot of charm. Its dedicated staff makes sure each guest leaves with grins on their faces after a refreshing and amazing experience. The park receives more than 260,000 nationals and internationals visitors each year, with an influx of locals as well as foreign tourists during the summer. It is open between 10am and 6pm during July and August, and from 10am until 5pm throughout the rest year.

You can purchase advance tickets from the aqualand website. Aqualand is located at Calle Cuba 10 in Torremolinos.
