Andy’s Beach Bar kitchen inferno

On Saturday morning the kitchen of Andy’s Beach beach bar, a much-loved beach destination on Cabopino, was completely destroyed by a fire. 

The chiringuito, a popular eatery in the area, suffered a fire that was so bad it destroyed everything from the kitchen and storage rooms. No word has been released on the cause of the fire or whether the entire site was affected. According to reports, the bar will continue to serve drinks.

At 2.45am, Saturday morning, the fire alarm went off at a Cabopino beach bar. From the 112 emergency coordination room, National Police and Local Police were immediately dispatched, along with the Health Teams 061 and Firefighters.

Firefighters managed to put out the fires after several hours of intensive work on the beach. There were no reported injuries.
